More On Free Money Programs

Referrals
The more people using their site, the more money the GPT site earns. To get more people to their site(s), most of the GPT sites have a referral system, which is similar to the Paid to Promote system. With this referral system, members of the GPT site earn money by just referring others to the GPT site, and letting them sign up under their name, but most of the time members only receive money every time their referral earns money. For example, a site gives 1 cent per advertisement clicked and viewed for a certain amount of time. If a member has 5 referrals, who all click and view 5 ads, they earn 5 cent each. The member who referred them receives 25 cents from his referrals only this way.

Basic System
Most GPT Websites receive money from their advertisers. For every view, click, survey or sign-up, they receive money. A small amount of that money goes to the visitors of the sites. The people who view the ads. In a certain way, the advertiser gives money to the viewer, whilst the owner of the GPT website earns most of the money.

Free Money Programs
Most GPT websites pay online, usually through payment processors such as Paypal or Egold. A few websites pay by personal check while others offer payment in the form of online gift certificates or give away prizes

Paid survey scams

There are two common types of paid survey scams. The first method involves an incentive being offered and then never delivered. The company or person running the survey is able to sell the information obtained to marketing firms and then closes his/her website prior to paying the participants.
The second most common method of the paid survey scam requires participants to pay in order to access an online listing of paid survey offers. The reason this can sometimes be classified as a scam is because the list of paid survey offers presented to those who have paid the membership fee are out of date, or inaccurate.
A common way to identify a potential survey scam is by evaluating the demographic requirements. Legitimate surveys are targeted to specific demographics and will often require the participant to complete a pre-survey in order to ensure that they fall into the required demographic.

Other paid survey scams
Beware of the paid survey company that asks you to purchase products or services or to pay for shipping of merchandise in order to be paid for completing surveys.
Beware of the paid survey company that asks for precise information about you, such as your exact birthday and mailing address. This information and your credit card number can leave you open for identity theft. Survey companies do not need this information.

Paid survey

A paid survey is a type of online statistical survey where the participant is rewarded through an incentive program. A paid survey is used to collect quantitative information about the participant’s personal and economic habits. Often used by marketing firms to test new advertisements, they offer the participant a cash reward or entry into a sweepstakes program.

Legitimate paid surveys exist because, in order to remain competitive in their given markets, companies need a better understanding of their customers and the customers' perception of products. Surveys that are legitimate are separated by personal demographics so that the data will better apply to the target audience the marketing firm is trying to reach.

Because the corporate marketing companies need to understand consumer perceptions in-depth, they will offer incentives to survey participants. A participant will never have to pay for a legitimate paid survey.

Paid To Signup

Also known as PTS or Paid offers, these websites pay members to sign up for sponsor offers. These offers usually cost money, and so these programs are not free. The problem with these websites is that there is often an overlap of offers between websites; for example several websites may have the same offer available.

Paid to Promote
These websites pay users to promote a link. They usually pay a small amount for every user who views the page.
Some websites fall in to more than one of these categories.

Paid To Click

Paid To Click (PTC) websites are similar to paid to read websites, the difference being that a PTC website displays its advertisements on the website, and so do not require the user to receive emails. Most paid to read websites are also paid to click websites, however there are some PTC-only websites. Advertisements on PTC websites, again, are either timed or untimed.

Paid To Read

Paid to read "PTR" websites are probably the most common kind of GPT website. In a PTR website, members are paid a small amount of money "usually about 1 cent" for reading an advertiser's email. Since advertising is so cheap on these websites, there is alwaysemails for members. Paid emails are either timed or untimed. Timed paid emails require the memebers to view the advertisement for a certain amount of time "usually 20-30 seconds or even less" where as untimed paid emails just require the user to click into the advertisement page.
